Title: Being A Wise Health Care Consumer
Description: One of the biggest challenges the State of Delaware faces is the increasing cost of health care for employees, pensioners and their family members. It will take a team approach with all of us doing our part as educated consumers to manage health care costs and ensure great care is available and affordable now and in the future. In this course, you will learn how you can help to hold down rising costs, save money and improve/maintain your health and well-being.
Target Audience: Benefit-eligible State Agency, School District, Charter School, Higher Education and Participating Group employees, as well as State of Delaware pensioners.
Length: Approximately 40 minutes
Delaware Learning Center (DLC): This applies to State Agency employees. Department of Education (DOE) employees MUST access and complete the course in Schoology.
Schoology: This applies to School District, Charter School and Department of Education (DOE) employees. Employees who do not have an Identity Management System (IMS) account (i.e., School cafeteria, custodial and bus driver employees) MUST use the Separate Website Access Link to complete the course.
Separate Website Access Link: This applies to Elected Officials in the Legislative Branch; Pensioners; National Guard employees; Higher Education employees (i.e., Delaware Tech and Delaware State University); Participating Group employees (i.e., University of Delaware, Cities, Towns and Fire Companies); and School cafeteria, custodial and bus driver employees.
