GROUP LIFE INSURANCE
Minnesota Life Group Universal Life (GUL) Program Changes
Effective November 1, 2011
The GUL program affords enrolled employees the option of making additional premium contributions into a Cash Accumulation Account with the objective of building cash value on a tax-deferred basis. You may start, stop, or change your contributions to the Cash Accumulation Account at any time. You may withdraw up to 100 percent of your policy's net cash value. The minimum withdrawal amount is $100. Effective November 1, 2011, the $10.00 per withdrawal service fee was removed from the State of Delaware's GUL program. You may also take a loan against the cash value that does not have to be repaid, but interest continues to be added to any outstanding loan balance. Please refer to the Enrollment Packet below for more information on the Cash Accumulation Account. To see how cash value may grow at different contribution levels, log onto Minnesota Life's website at www.lifebenefits.com and use the online cash accumulation tool.
