Group Universal Life (GUL) and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverages
Effective January 1, 2008, the monthly rates on the Minnesota Life Group Universal Life (GUL) Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance programs are slightly increasing. The new monthly rates per $1,000 of employee coverage are reflected in the chart below:

| Rates apply to current GUL insurance amounts and any additional insurance purchased on or after January 1, 2008. Rates increase with age and include Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage until age 70. Rates are subject to change. |

The definition of disability in the "Premium Waiver" benefit of the GUL program is being modified to more closely match the definition of total disability in the Disability Insurance Program’s Long Term Disability plan for persons enrolled in the GUL program who become disabled on or after January 1, 2008. In an ongoing effort to continue to provide employees with information to improve their overall understanding of "total compensation", an individualized "Total Compensation Summary - FY2008" will be mailed to the homes of eligible employees working in departments 01 through 77 starting Friday, April 4, 2008.
This year's Total Compensation Summary" is based on a snapshot of your individualized data in the State of Delaware's payroll system known as PHRST as of January 18, 2008. If edits or updates were made after this point in time, it will not be reflected on your statement.
